Citizen Hotel Wedding | Sacramento Wedding Photographer

On a rainy day in Sacramento, I entered the Citizen Hotel and made my way up to the ninth floor.  As the elevator door opened, I saw Mike smiling from ear to ear, whispering to Julie as he was hidden behind the door.   He knew his life depended on not looking in that room, but there was no rule about talking to his bride to be. :)

Meet Mike and Julie.  This day had been a long time coming, nine years, and all the friends and family made sure to make fun of Mike for that.  But whether it was nine years or nine days, they were both dancing on the clouds like little children.  You could just see the sparkle in their eyes, today was a good day!

It was a pleasure to spend the day with these two gentle souls.  I couldn’t help but get swallowed up with happiness from everyone around.  I hope you enjoy the wedding photography taken at the Citizen Hotel!

Meet Anne & John, married at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.

There was a beauty about Anne & John, that came from within. I first saw it during their engagement session and then again on their wedding day. Sometimes as a photographer, I get lucky enough to just sit back and let two people be in each other’s presence and just capture that precious moment…and this was one of those times. From the peacefulness of the wedding day to the happiness in everyone’s eyes to the heartfelt speeches, there was love in the air. The wedding day turned out wonderful as you can see in the wedding photographs. And I was lucky enough to be a part of their special day together.

Catta Verdera, Lincoln | Wedding Photography

Meet Carrie & Jay.  I arrived at Catta Verda Country Club in Lincoln, jumped on a golf cart and made my way to the girls.  As I approached, the sound of hair dryers and laughter filled the air.  I made my way into the villa, then Carrie’s warm smile was there to greet me…I knew it was going to be a great day.

Carrie and Jay are the type of people you just want to hang out with and have a good time, so we clicked instantly.  Working with them before the wedding, I knew they were good people…kind with each other, playful and totally in love.  Except for a little wedding day jitters, this day was no different.  Catta Verdera was gorgeous, the staff was wonderful, the weather was beautiful, the food was to die for and there were good people all around…what more do you need in life.  As you can see, we got some great shots for the wedding.

Unique wedding photography!  We took a twist in direction with this trash the dress shoot. The concept was to focus on visual graphics and iconic landmarks, getting one dynamic image for each location. We found some great spots that really made my job a breeze. Plus, I had a great model…thanks Gina! Perhaps my favorite is this first image…reminds me of some epic Greek movie. Hope you enjoy.
